Job summary

Oak View Home in Waverly Hall, GA is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Aide for daytime full-time shifts. You will maintain clean, safe living areas, assist residents, and follow center procedures.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors; may spray buff or wax floors.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and dust surfaces in patient areas.
• Empty trash, clean bathrooms and windows; move and clean furniture.
• Change curtains, clean dining areas, and maintain cleanliness schedules.
• Follow infection control standards and use PPE as needed.
• Report equipment issues to Maintenance and keep supplies stocked.
• Safeguard chemicals and follow MSDS precautions.
