Overview

Community First is looking for a Full Time Housekeeper to join our team at our Hamilton facility (Westover)!

Our housekeepers are responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas in a sanitary, safe, and attractive manner according to established Infection Control and Environmental Services (EVS) procedures as trained and directed by supervisor. This position ensures the highest level of cleanliness and sanitation while providing exceptional customer service.

Schedule & Pay

• Full Time: Monday - Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
• Starting pay: $14 per hour, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures as directed
• Follow all Infection Control Protocols
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum assigned areas
• Clean thoroughly and double-check work before leaving
• Refill paper towel and soap dispensers as needed
• Follow laundry protocols for soiled and clean linens
• Keep janitor closets and supply rooms organized and secure
• Participate in trainings and meetings
• Report maintenance issues
• Assist with packing patient belongings upon discharge
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience preferred
• Ability to operate EVS equipment safely
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Availability to work evenings and weekends
