Job summary

Generations at Cherrywood Village in Portland, OR is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper. You will clean resident apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices, ensuring a home-like environment and safe, well-maintained spaces for residents.

This full-time position offers a Monday–Friday 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, PTO, medical/dental/vision coverage for full-time staff, a 401(k) match, on-the-job training, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid or training provided upon hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service residents’ apartments, common areas, guest rooms, and offices.
• Change linens in apartments as scheduled.
• May perform laundry duties.
• Spot clean carpets as needed.
• Service apartments as they become vacant and ensure turnover efficiency.
• Review the facility’s environment and direct repair/replacement requests.
• Assist residents and staff in creating a home-like atmosphere.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
