Job summary

Woodland Village in Brighton, MI is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe, and welcoming living areas for residents. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, report maintenance needs, and follow infection control procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Housekeeping, healthcare, senior living, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain resident and community areas in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, polish, and disinfect assigned spaces.
• Provide floor care including buffing, waxing, shampooing, and deodorizing.
• Complete detailed room cleaning before admissions and after discharges.
• Monitor and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and lighting repairs as needed.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
