Job summary

Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport in Renton, WA seeks a Room Attendant/Housekeeper to maintain clean, welcoming guest rooms and deliver exceptional service. You will interact with guests, uphold Hyatt’s standards of cleanliness, and may cross-train in Laundry.

Shifts run 8:00am–4:30pm weekdays and 9:00am–5:30pm weekends/holidays; flexibility required. Previous cleaning experience is a plus but not required; training is provided.

Qualifications

Ability to learn quickly and work in fast paced position with guest interaction.
Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight (minimum of 20 lbs).
Must be 18 years or older.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast paced environment.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Maintains the cleanliness of guest rooms as assigned.
Communicates with guests to ensure their needs are met with courteous service.
Opens to cross training in Laundry Department.

The Room Attendant/Housekeeper creates an experience for our hotel guests by offering them a larger than home experience with welcoming, helpful and exceptional service, while maintaining a clean, comfortable and inviting environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the guest rooms as assigned. Must be able to communicate well with guests. Previous cleaning experience a plus but not required. The shift is from 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday and 9:00am - 5:30pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. This person will have the opportunity to cross train in the Laundry Department.
