Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist; report issues to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments and common areas as scheduled; report issues to Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas; keep inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to supervisor.
• Keep laundry/linen rooms clean and organized; clean lint traps daily and area behind machines weekly.
• Other duties as assigned per full job description.

Full-Time Housekeeper
Spring Arbor of Steele Creek | Charlotte, NC | 8AM-4PM

Do you take pride in a job well done and want your work to make a real difference? Spring Arbor of Steele Creek is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Housekeeper to help keep our community clean, safe, and welcoming for the residents who call it home.

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

Areas of Responsibility

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
