Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Reno, NV and surrounding areas. This mobile role focuses on hospice and euthanasia care, prioritizing work‑life balance and personal well‑being while delivering compassionate veterinary medicine.

As part of a veterinarian‑led team, you will join a community of professionals who value mentorship, ongoing training, and patient‑family relationships.

Qualifications

• DVM required with a valid license to practice in the United States.
• Weekend availability as needed for client scheduling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check after hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia veterinary care for pets and families.

• Veterinarian salary range: 3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Reno, NV area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $75,000 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $90,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day full‑time and part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
