Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to serve Reno, NV and surrounding areas. This mobile practice provides hospice and euthanasia care with a focus on work‑life balance and meaningful patient‑family moments.

You'll join a community of veterinarians offering flexible schedules (3-day, 4-day, or 5-day options) with base salaries starting at $75,000 for 4-day options and $90,000 for 5-day roles, plus bonus opportunities. Weekend availability may be required.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD/BVMS degree required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate in‑home hospice and euthanasia care for pets.
• Support families and patients in emotionally meaningful moments.

• Veterinarian salary range: 3‑day, 4‑day, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the Reno, NV area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4‑day positions starting at $75,000 and 5‑day positions offering a base salary of $90,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑Day full‑time and part‑time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
