Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in San Diego, CA is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care with compassion, professionalism, and respect for each pet and family.

As a mobile veterinarian, you’ll join a supportive network of mentors, enjoy flexible 2–5 day schedules, and practice medicine that aligns with your values while prioritizing personal well‑being.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Background and motor vehicle record check post-hire and before start date.

• Veterinarian Salary Range 3‑, 4‑, and 5‑day full‑time opportunities are available in the San Diego, CA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure: 4‑day positions start at $117,500; 5‑day positions offer a base salary of $140,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3‑day full‑time and part‑time opportunities are also available and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends

• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post‑hire and before their associated start date
