Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian in the Oceanside, CA area. Join a mobile practice that prioritizes work-life balance and meaningful patient care in clients’ homes.

As a veterinary team member, you will provide hospice and euthanasia services with compassionate care, alongside experienced mentors and a supportive network, while enjoying a flexible schedule and autonomy in your role.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
• Candidates will undergo a background and motor vehicle record check.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Travel to Oceanside, CA and surrounding areas.
• Deliver compassionate veterinary care in clients' homes.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: 3-day, 4-day, and 5-day full-time opportunities are available in the Oceanside, CA area. Compensation varies based on schedule structure, with 4-day positions starting at $107,500 and 5-day positions offering a base salary of $130,000, plus additional bonus opportunities. 3-Day Full-Time and Part-time opportunities are also available in this market and offer prorated compensation based on schedule.

• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends

• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
