Job summary

Candlewood Suites St. Charles, in Missouri, is seeking a dependable and hardworking Full-Time Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team.

Must be willing to start immediately with open weekend and holiday availability, and bilingual is a plus. The role involves removing dirty linen from guest areas, stocking carts, transporting laundry to the employee laundry room, and sorting, washing, drying, folding, and inspecting linens.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Must be able to follow instructions and hotel safety procedures.
• Previous hotel laundry or housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and transport loads of linen.

Responsibilities

• Remove dirty linen and towels from guest rooms and guest hallways.
• Stock and replenish housekeeping carts and linen bins throughout the shift, ensuring they are fully stocked and ready for use before leaving for the day.
• Transport soiled linen safely to the employee laundry room.
• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linen and towels.
• Pre-treat stained linen before washing.
• Inspect linen for stains, damage, or excessive wear.
• Keep the employee laundry room clean, safe, and organized at all times.
• Clean lint traps and maintain laundry equipment work areas.
• Stock clean linen in the appropriate storage areas.
• Notify management of damaged linen, equipment problems, or supply needs.
• Assist the housekeeping department with additional duties as assigned.
