Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce seeks a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Hotel Housekeeper to join our housekeeping team. The ideal candidate maintains clean, comfortable guest rooms and public hotel areas to ensure a high standard of service.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms according to standards, replenishing supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and following safety procedures. Weekend/holiday availability is required; strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or professional cleaning experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift during the workday.
• Ability to lift and carry housekeeping supplies and equipment.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
• Make beds and change linens, towels, and other room supplies.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, showers, toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries, towels, linens, and other guest supplies.
• Inspect rooms for cleanliness, damage, or maintenance issues and report concerns promptly.
• Clean hallways, stairways, public areas, and other assigned hotel spaces.
• Follow proper procedures for lost and found items.
• Safely use cleaning products and housekeeping equipment.
• Follow hotel health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Respond courteously and professionally to guest requests.
• Work efficiently to complete assigned rooms within scheduled timeframes.
• Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and supply areas.
• Perform other housekeeping duties as assigned.
