Xanitos, Inc. in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for all shifts at Lutheran Hospital. The role cleans and maintains patient care areas, corridors, restrooms and common spaces on client premises, following site standards and safety rules.

Shifts range from early to late, with a $500 sign-on bonus paid in three increments. Vaccination and post-offer screening are required.

Qualifications

• COVID-19 vaccination required unless exempt for medical or religious reasons.
• Experience in janitorial or medical cleaning is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork; cleans walls, windows, and woodwork.
• Empties wastebaskets and transports trash to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.

Xanitos is hiring Full-Time and Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for all shifts at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN.

• Hourly Pay Rate $16.50
• Shifts Available
  • 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • 3:00pm to 11:30pm
  • 5:00pm-1:30am
  • 11:00pm-7:30am
• $500 Sign on Bonus (paid in three increments)

Job Overview:

The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

Job Qualifications:

• Successful applicants for this position must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment unless they request and are granted a medical or religious exemption.
• Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
• Medical cleaning a plus
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
