Job summary

TouchPoint Support Services is hiring a Floor Technician for Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL. This full-time role focuses on floor maintenance and restoration, operating industrial floor care equipment, and supporting patient-friendly facility services in a healthcare environment.

The shift runs 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm with rotating weekends/holidays. Prior floor care experience is a plus, and the company offers training to new hires.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience is a plus.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and proper stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and spray buffing procedures.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.
