Job summary

Ohio’s Hospice is hiring a hospice PCS aide for a full-time day shift in the Dayton, OH area. The role involves direct patient care across facilities and patients’ homes within the greater Dayton/Trotwood region, with 4-10 hour days and hours from 8am to 6pm.

You will join a dedicated interdisciplinary team, delivering compassionate care to enhance quality of life for patients and support families during difficult times.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse Aide preferred, but internal training is available.
• CHPNA certification preferred; Ohio's Hospice supports certification.
• Proficient computer skills with ability to document in EMR.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with safe driving record and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and 10-panel drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients and families.
• Deliver direct patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Accurately document patient care and services in EMR.
