Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cincinnati is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients. The role covers performing nursing assessments, implementing prescribed orders, and delivering skilled care in patients’ homes.

Hourly pay ranges from $25 to $28, with competitive benefits including health and dental coverage, PTO, retirement plans, and paid weekly paychecks. Prior home health experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Licensed as LPN/LVN in the state where practice is required.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses with health care team.
