Job summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions in the home health setting. You will collaborate with a Physical Therapist and an interdisciplinary team to optimize patient well-being in the Bridgeville, Seaford, and Delmar territory.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted PTA license in the practicing state.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy under supervision and in line with the plan of care.
• Keeps patients and caregivers updated on the plan of care.
• Delivers skilled therapy services and treatments to support patient function and safety.
• Documents patient progress and changes to clinicians and physicians.
• Educates patients and caregivers on safe use of assistive devices and rehabilitation techniques.
