Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current, unrestricted state PTA license.
• Valid CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct physical therapy as directed by the PT and plan of care.
• Keeps patient and caregiver updated on the plan of care.
• Delivers skilled therapy services and procedures safely.
• Records observations and progress notes during visits to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educates patients and caregivers on device use and rehab techniques.
