Job summary

Roy Jorgensen Associates, Inc. in the Tampa, FL area is seeking a full-time Sweeper Operator to perform street sweeping, debris removal, and highway maintenance on the FDOT Tampa I75 project.

You will also assist with sign and guardrail repair, concrete work, mowing and vegetation control, and follow all applicable regulations. Candidates should have at least 2 years of roadway maintenance experience, a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of roadway maintenance experience.
• Must pass background and demonstrate safe driving record.
• Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform street sweeping, debris removal and highway maintenance.
• Repair signs and guardrails; concrete repair and mowing/vegetation control.
• Assist with roadway snow removal and other tasks as needed.
