Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold NYS Teaching Assistant certification (Levels I–III) or Part 30 tenure area.
• High school experience preferred but not required.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the in-school suspension (ISS) program and promote restorative practices.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to collect and administer assignments to ISS students and return them to teachers.
• Monitor hallways, study halls and cafeterias as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by administration.
