Job summary

Pennswood Village is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Housekeeper/Floor Care Technician to join our senior living community. The role focuses on cleaning carpets and floors, operating floor-care equipment, and maintaining areas across the campus, with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Experience is preferred, but we are willing to train dependable individuals who are eager to learn and work independently in a clean, safe, and professional environment.

Qualifications

• Floor care, housekeeping or institutional cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn floor-care equipment and techniques.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining carpeted and hard-surface floors.
• Operating floor-care equipment and completing scheduled floor maintenance.
• Providing floor care throughout resident hallways, common areas, offices, and health center.
• Moving furniture and equipment as needed to complete floor-care assignments.
• Working independently while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.
