Job summary

Prevea Health in Green Bay is seeking an Audiology Assistant to join our busy clinic. This full-time role (36 hours per week, Monday through Friday) supports audiologists with device fitting, maintenance, patient education, and administrative tasks to ensure a seamless patient experience.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, CPR/BLS certification, and strong communication and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and/or GED Required.
• CPR/BLS certification from approved program Required.
• Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• Ability to prioritize work and meet changing demands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under stressful or emergency situations with high concentration and energy level.
• Basic knowledge in the use of EMR systems, computer, phone, and office equipment.
• Possess effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Audiologists for daily workflows including coordinating the pickup of hearing aids, entering proper documentation for consultation, advising the payments due at time of visit, etc.
• Assist patients with fitting, maintenance, troubleshooting, and orientation/education of hearing aids and other assistive listening devices. Ensure the devices are clean and properly functioning. Pre-program and/or re-program hearing aids.
• Greet patients and navigate them from library/education space to the exam room.
• Support the pre-determination process for all hearing devices and appointments
• Maintain a system for hearing device checks/repairs and completion of orders.
• Assist with billing concerns and with invoice management.
• Manage inventory of audiological equipment/supplies and reordering.
• Work at multiple outreach sites at the supervisors or Audiologists direction
