Conquest Racing is seeking a full-time GT Race Car Mechanic to join our professional GT racing programs in Indianapolis, IN. We are looking for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced motorsports environment, and communicates well with the team to ensure precision and performance.

The right candidate will have at least 2 years of professional race car mechanic experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to work long hours with extensive travel

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional race car mechanic experience.
• Strong mechanical and technical skills.
• Solid understanding of race car systems and setup.
• Experience working on GT or sports cars preferred.
• Ability to accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working long hours and traveling extensively during the racing season.
• Ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under the pressure of professional racing.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to contribute wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain GT race cars for race events.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, diagnose, repair, and reassemble race car components.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance between and during race events.
• Assist with race car setup and adjustments based on engineering direction and driver feedback.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
• Assist with shop preparation and car builds between race events.
• Follow team procedures and maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality.
