Job summary

Vincentian Collaborative System is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces across campuses. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license.

You will perform lawn care, seasonal cleanups, and snow removal, traveling between Vincentian locations as needed. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and dependable outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Two years of landscaping experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate landscaping and snow removal equipment.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to assist with seasonal responsibilities, including snow and ice removal.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds and landscaped areas across Vincentian facilities, including mowing, edging, weeding, mulching, and seasonal spring and fall cleanups.
• Assist with planting, flower beds, planters, and other landscaping projects to keep outdoor spaces healthy and attractive.
• Perform snow and ice removal during winter months using appropriate equipment and materials.
• Safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, trimmers, garden tractors, snowblowers, and other tools.
• Inspect grounds regularly to ensure landscaped areas are clean, well-maintained, and safe.
• Travel between Vincentian locations as needed to support groundskeeping and maintenance responsibilities.
• Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Work collaboratively with the landscaping team and facility staff to support a safe, welcoming environment.
• Be available for early starts, weekends, and on-call assignments when snow or ice removal is needed.
• Follow Vincentian policies and procedures, support our mission and values, and report potential safety or compliance concerns.
