Job summary

El Conquistador Golf Club in Oro Valley, AZ, is seeking a driven Full-Time Assistant Superintendent to join a Troon-managed property. You will learn, contribute, and grow in a fast-paced, hospitality-focused environment with a focus on maintaining course quality and budget adherence.

Responsibilities include assisting the Superintendent with annual budget and capital plans, supervising staff, planning maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs and bunkers, and ensuring proper licenses and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/soil science or related field.
• 3–4 years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with budget and capital plans.
• Supervise maintenance staff in daily duties.
• Assist in maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and bunkers.
• Oversee planting and cultural practices for turf grasses and ornamentals.
• Coordinate procurement of supplies within budget.

Education

Bachelor's degree in agronomy/ horticulture/ plant/soil science
