Job summary

Elwood Care Center & Assisted Living in Elwood, NE, is seeking a Full Time CNA for day shift (6 am–6 pm, 3 days per week).

This position includes every 3rd weekend/holiday rotation and starts at $20/hour, with increases based on experience.

Benefits include Medical (BCBS), Dental and Vision (Ameritas), plus Short-Term Disability and Cancer plans; vacation accrues after a 90-day probation.

Qualifications

• Must complete the 76 hour Nursing Assistant course and pass a written test with 80% or better.
• Prior geriatric care experience is preferred, but training is provided.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with and perform care duties according to procedures and plans.
• Provide psychosocial and spiritual support as part of resident care.
• Monitor, document observations and communicate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintain resident rights, dignity, privacy and independence as outlined.
• Uphold safety, infection control and facility policies.
