Job summary

Tindell's, Inc. in Halls, TN is hiring a Yard / Warehouse Team Member & Forklift Operator to safely load, unload, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse. You will support customers and crews with quick material pickups and ensure accurate order loading.

A strong team player with forklift experience and reliable attendance is essential. Competitive starting pay of $16.00 per hour, with weekly pay, and benefits including PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Hands-on forklift operating experience in a lumberyard/warehouse.
• Ability to lift 50-100 lbs repeatedly with proper technique.
• Strong basic math, reading, and writing to process orders.
• Reliable team player with good communication and a positive attitude.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and organize materials in the yard and warehouse.
• Assist builders and walk-in customers with fast, accurate material pickups and order loading.
• Double-check delivery orders for accuracy and assist with processing returned inventory.
• Keep the yard clean, organized, and secure; perform daily equipment pre-operation safety checks.
• Collaborate with supervisors and yard crews to keep daily operations moving.
