Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. in North East, MD is seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to support our warehouse operations on 1st-3rd shifts. You will load trailers, pick orders to palletize, and maintain ERP records for inventory controls.

Qualifications

• Must pass background and pre-employment drug screen.
• Able to perform physical requirements of the position.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Stable work history with good references.
• Prior forklift or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Must read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Regularly exposed to wet/humid conditions; extreme temperatures; moving parts.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load trailers, pick orders to palletize, stack boxes, wrap pallets.
• Position forklifts and transport loads to designated areas.
• Load/unload materials from pallets and record weights.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts and submit reports.
• Enter production data into the ERP system and maintain real-time records.
• Track inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment.
