Job summary

Herr Foods Inc. is seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to join our North East, MD team on all shifts. This full-time role involves operating forklifts, loading trailers, and palletizing orders, with attention to safety and efficiency.

You will work with ERP systems to enter production data, monitor inventory, and support direct ship programs. The job requires English reading/writing and a willingness to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Drive a forklift, load trailers, pick orders to palletize, stack boxes, wrap pallets.
• Position forklifts, lifting platforms, or other materials and transport load into the designated area.
• Loads or unloads stacks of materials on pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Weighs materials or products and records weight on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Perform safety inspections on forklifts, document the inspection, and submit the inspection report to the supervisor.
• Ensure that manufacturing data is accurately entered and tracked in the ERP system, including production orders, materials, and finished goods.
• Update and maintain ERP records to reflect real-time data, including production status, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
• Enter production and manufacturing data into the ERP system, including raw material consumption, machine usage, labor hours, and quality control data.
• Track inventory levels in real-time and coordinate with the necessary teams to ensure timely material replenishment.
• Other ERP responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
