Job summary

San Antonio Shoemakers is seeking a Retail Store Associate for our Knoxville, TN location. You will greet customers, measure and fit footwear, guide product selection, and process sales using our POS system. The role requires reliability, strong communication, and a collaborative spirit to uphold SAS standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma; retail experience is a plus. Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel as needed may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalents.
• Retail experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily store opening and closing procedures.
• Make weekly bank deposits.
• Provide a friendly welcoming environment and engage customers.
• Assist customers with seating, shoe fitting, and measuring feet.
• Showcase different shoe, handbag, and shoe care product categories.
• Operate POS system for sales, returns, charges, and transfers.
• Develop product knowledge and convey enthusiasm for SAS products and philosophy.
• Be ready to work at scheduled times.
• Complete special projects efficiently.
