Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring for a full-time Porter at United Lounges, O’Hare Chicago Airport (ORDCS Terminal). The role involves maintaining front-of-house cleanliness, assisting with serving and warewashing, and handling deliveries in a high-traffic environment.

Training on HACCP and safety is preferred, with benefits including health insurance and retirement plans. Typical schedule is in a full-time shift, with weekends required.

Qualifications

• Previous high traffic experience receiving deliveries, FIFO and safety knowledge.
• HACCP training is preferred.
• Pallet breakdown experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains front-of-house cleanliness and sanitation (tables, counters, floors, windows, beverage station).
• Busses and clears tables during peak service, preps areas for service.
• Transports dishes safely using trays, bus tubs or carts; follows safety procedures.
• Washes dishes and cleans stations to ensure sanitation.
• Receives heavy deliveries and transports them to storage areas with proper lifting.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and serving temperatures following HACCP standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
