Job summary

Flying Food Group in LAI is seeking a Porter in the Sanitation department. You will follow HACCP hygiene rules, wear appropriate attire, and uphold USDA-compliant sanitation procedures while cleaning interior and exterior areas.

The role requires basic experience (1–3 months) and emphasizes chemical handling, restroom sanitation, and waste management with flexibility for additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience - 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Language Ability - Able to communicate with coworkers and read machine operations monitoring instruments.
• Manual Dexterity - Able to handle tools and equipment used in cleaning processes.
• Reasoning Ability - Follow written or oral instructions.
• No computer skills needed.
• Certificates and Licenses - Sanitation license or certificate within 3 years is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow unit rules for entry to building and work areas, attired and HACCP hygiene compliant.
• Comply with sanitation SOPs, HACCP Plan and GMP for USDA compliance.
• Clean and sanitize all interior areas within unit and external property.
• Keep floors dry and mop spills to prevent slips.
• Maintain use and storage of sanitation chemicals and equipment.
• Sanitize restrooms and common areas.
• Empty and dispose of refuse properly.
• Perform other duties as assigned by unit Supervisors.
