Job summary

Pennswood Village is seeking a Full-Time Heavy Housekeeper/Floor Care Technician to maintain floors and spaces throughout our senior living community in Newtown, PA. This role offers a steady Monday-Friday schedule with 40 hours per week, and requires the ability to work independently with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in institutional cleaning preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow oral or written instructions; interact well and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain carpeted and hard-surface floors.
• Operate floor-care equipment and complete scheduled floor maintenance.
• Provide floor care throughout resident hallways, common areas, offices, meeting spaces, fitness and pool areas, and Health Center.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed to complete floor-care assignments.
• Work independently while maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment.
