Job summary

ServiceMaster by McCann is seeking a full-time traveling custodian to perform cleaning duties across NW Ohio and NE Indiana. The role includes a company vehicle, paid travel time, and training. The schedule is Monday–Friday with a 4:30pm–12:30am shift.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of custodian/janitorial experience or be eager to learn. A valid driver's license is required, and the job emphasizes safety, reliability, and a positive team attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Driver's License.
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses.
• Willingness to learn and strong work ethic.
• Flexible and able to work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job.
• Contribute to a positive work climate and be on time and in uniform.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties for facilities in NW Ohio and NE Indiana, using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures.
• Sweep, mop, polish, trash removal, restroom cleaning, windows, dusting.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Opens and locks facilities, enable and disable security system as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning duties for facilities in NW Ohio and NE Indiana, using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures

• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reaching
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 25lbs.
• Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and uses
• 1-2 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper a plus but not required
• Will provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.
• Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude
• Contribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on time
• Treat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respect

Pay Ranges: $16-$17 an hour with weekly pay period
