Securitas, Inc. Full-Time Flex Officer position available at multiple Colorado sites (Denver, Aurora, Centennial, Boulder, and more). The role involves patrolling, incident reporting, and ensuring safety across client locations.

Shifts follow a 2-out-of-3 schedule, including weekends and holidays, with comprehensive training and benefits. The role requires 18+, a HS diploma or GED, strong customer service and leadership skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazards, or suspicious activity.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilize technology devices throughout shift.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages and help train new officers.
• Write post orders and training checklists.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in vehicle; check for unsafe conditions or security violations.
• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries or emergencies.

Full-Time Flex Officer

Multiple Site Locations: Denver, Aurora, Brighton, Commerce City, Westminster, Englewood, Centennial, & Boulder CO

(Multiple sites depending on district managers area / needs.)

Wage: $23.00/HR

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple areas of the business. In this role you will provide operational support to our cliental and District Managers at multiple locations.

This officer will need to be available for 2 out of 3 shifts which includes weekends and holidays (schedules are provided a week in advance):

• 6AM – 2PM
• 2PM – 10PM
• 10PM – 6AM

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Provide customer service and information to theclient’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, as well as staff new accounts until permanent Security Officers can be hired.
• Write post orders and training checklists.
• Train newly assigned permanent Security Officers.
• Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances / exits, and unauthorized persons.
• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Reliable transportation and means of communication needed.
• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are a plus, but are not needed for every site.

• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
