Securitas Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Flex Officer to cover multiple sites in and around Denver, CO. The role requires weekend and holiday availability, with three rotating shifts (6AM-2PM, 2PM-10PM, 10PM-6AM).

You will gain exposure to various security solutions while supporting district managers and clients across several locations. You will contribute to safety, de-escalation, incident reporting, and client relations, while enjoying comprehensive benefits, paid training, and opportunities for

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Ability to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Excellent attention to detail and vigilance during shift.
• Pass pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsabilités

• Provide operational support at multiple locations.
• Deliver customer service to clients’ employees and guests.
• Identify safety issues and report hazards or suspicious activity.
• Follow post orders and complete assigned rounds.
• Write incident reports detailing security issues and emergencies.
• Assist with staffing at accounts during shortages and onboarding of new accounts.

Full-Time Flex Officer

Multiple Site Locations: Denver, Aurora, Brighton, Commerce City, Westminster, Englewood, Centennial, & Boulder CO

(Multiple sites depending on district managers area / needs.)

Wage: $23.00/HR

Join our team at Securitas Security where you will have the opportunity to serve your community while receiving advanced training in safety and security. This position will give you the opportunity to gain knowledge in the various security solutions we provide to our clients, while learning multiple areas of the business. In this role you will provide operational support to our cliental and District Managers at multiple locations.

This officer will need to be available for 2 out of 3 shifts which includes weekends and holidays (schedules are provided a week in advance):

• 6AM – 2PM

• 2PM – 10PM

• 10PM – 6AM

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.

• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.

• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.

• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.

• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.

• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.

• Support staffing requirements at accounts during shortages due to vacations, call-offs, no shows, suspensions, holidays, as well as staff new accounts until permanent Security Officers can be hired.

• Write post orders and training checklists.

• Train newly assigned permanent Security Officers.

• Patrol assigned site on foot or in a vehicle; check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, blocked entrances / exits, and unauthorized persons.

• Write detailed incident reports on unauthorized entries, suspicious activity, emergency situations, and any other observed issues.

• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Above average computer / technology skills needed.

• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.

• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.

• Must be able to work independently.

• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.

• Must have a professional demeanor.

• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

• Reliable transportation and means of communication needed.

• Must have a valid drivers license and be able to pass a motor vehicle record.

• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications are a plus, but are not needed for every site.

• Occasional reaching with hands and arms, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.

• Additional physical requirements may include frequent lifting and / or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and / or moving up to 25 pounds.
