Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment to boost academic, emotional, and social development.

The position includes nine days on, three days off, with transition to a placed role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Campus is smoke-free and weapon-free; alcohol not permitted during duty.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
