Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of approximately 8-13 students.

This role offers meaningful daily involvement and a pathway to a Placed Houseparent assignment over time. Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation, budgeting, and leading daily devotions.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain required certifications.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Plan and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
