Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique residential role, couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision and support for a group of 8–13 students, helping them grow academically, emotionally and socially.

Flex Houseparents begin by supporting multiple homes on a nine-on, three-off schedule, later transitioning to a placed home with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person married couple required for the role.
• Spouses must be age 27 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Lead devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Transport students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
