Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a two-person couple. You will reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for about 8–13 students, creating a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social development.

The role begins with nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent role living with the same group.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
