Milton Hershey School, located in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents for a married couple. You will reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and supervision for 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment that supports academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role starts with nine days on/three off, with opportunities to transition to a placed houseparent living arrangement within the same student home.

Qualifications

• Two-spouse role; married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Pet limitations: only fish and one dog of approved breeds allowed.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
