Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, supervising about 8–13 students and guiding their academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, devotions, transportation, and budgeting. Two-year couple requirement with 9-on/3-off schedule, leading to a Placed Houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship of students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
• Support and transition to a Placed Houseparent role with consistent student groups.
