Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to fill Full-time Flex Houseparent positions on campus. Couples live in student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, medications, transportation to activities, devotions, and budgeting. The role begins with a nine-on, three-off cycle and leads to a placed houseparent assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
