Job summary

Pierce Transit in Lakewood, WA is seeking a Service Station Attendant to support the Fleet Maintenance team. The role involves fueling, cleaning, basic maintenance, and reporting issues to ensure vehicles are safe and ready for service.

The position is full-time with shift-based hours and differential pay per the ATU Local #758 agreement. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Help mechanics with basic repairs and vehicle maintenance.
• Fuel vehicles with gasoline, diesel, CNG, or propane.
• Fill diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) tanks when needed.
• Check and fill vehicle fluids, such as oil and coolant.
• Clean the inside and outside of vehicles.
• Perform basic vehicle service and care.
• Work both inside and outside in all types of weather.
• Look for and report vehicle problems, damage, or safety concerns.
• Work well with other Fleet Maintenance employees.
• Follow safety rules and take responsibility for your work.
