KRE Security LLC is seeking a Full-Time High School Security Officer in the Berks County area. The role supports a welcoming, safe environment for students, staff, and visitors on a school campus during day hours.

The ideal candidate is 21+ and female as required by contract, reliable, punctual, approachable, and able to interact professionally with a diverse school community. Training and background checks are provided, with paid PTO accrual after the 60-day probation.

Qualifications

• Complete all required background checks and clearances.
• Complete all training mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for School Security Officers.
• Maintain all required certifications, clearances, and training throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout the school day.
• Conducting interior and exterior patrols based on the daily schedule and activities.
• Monitoring entrances, hallways, and common areas.
• Assisting with arrival, dismissal, lunch, and other school activities.
• Interacting professionally with students, staff, families, and visitors.
• Observing and reporting unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Responding to security and safety concerns as needed.
• Supporting school staff during challenging situations.
• Completing required activity logs and incident reports.
• Following site-specific post orders and client requirements.
• Providing additional coverage for school events, athletic events, and other activities as requested.

Full-Time High School Security Officer – Berks County

Are you dependable, professional, and someone who enjoys working with students, families, staff, and visitors?

We're looking for a Full-Time High School Female Security Officer to join our team at a high school in the Berks County area. This position follows the academic school calendar and provides security and a welcoming presence throughout the school day.

This position requires a female Security Officer in accordance with the client's contractual staffing requirements to complement the existing security team.

What You’ll Do

As a High School Security Officer, you'll help maintain a safe and positive environment for students, staff, families, and visitors.

• Providing a visible and professional security presence throughout the school day.
• Conducting interior and exterior patrols based on the school's daily schedule and activities.
• Monitoring entrances, hallways, common areas, and designated exterior areas.
• Assisting with maintaining a safe environment during arrival, dismissal, lunch, and other school activities.
• Interacting professionally and respectfully with students, staff, families, and visitors.
• Observing and reporting unusual or potentially unsafe activity.
• Responding appropriately to security and safety concerns.
• Supporting school staff during challenging situations when needed.
• Completing required activity logs and incident reports.
• Following all site-specific post orders, procedures, and client requirements.
• Providing additional coverage for school events, athletic events, and other activities as requested.

Security, education, customer service, military, law enforcement, or other public-facing experience is a plus, but reliability, professionalism, communication, and the right attitude matter just as much.

Required Background Checks & Training

Because this position is located in a school environment, the selected candidate must be willing to:

• Complete all required background checks and clearances.
• Complete all training mandated by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for School Security Officers.
• Maintain all required certifications, clearances, and training throughout employment.
