Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds and property at a federal facility under the AbilityOne program. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, edging, pruning, and seasonal snow removal to ensure safe, clean outdoor environments for customers and staff.

The role requires basic physical ability to lift 25-50 pounds, operate landscaping equipment, and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Reads and comprehends basic written work-related documents with attention to detail.
• Carries out simple one- or two-step instructions with minimal supervision.
• Awareness of safety protocols and risk mitigation in outdoor work.
• Familiarity with lawn care equipment and basic maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Mows, trims, and maintains lawns and shrubs at federal facilities.
• Keeps grounds clean, prunes plants, and treats weeds as needed.
• Performs snow removal including salting and shoveling during winter.
