British American Household Staffing seeks a full-time nanny for a warm Upper East Side family. The role operates in a true shared-care setting with multiple caregivers and a mix of infants through early elementary ages, including a new baby later this year.

Schedule is Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with overnight coverage Wednesday and Thursday, plus a Sunday half-day. The family travels and offers a private bedroom for overnights. Long-term growth with one family is a priority.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple children or larger family dynamics.
• Deep knowledge of child development and age-appropriate milestones.
• Calm, patient, emotionally regulated, and naturally nurturing.
• Confident setting healthy boundaries with warmth and consistency.
• Strong communicator who enjoys working as part of a collaborative household team.
• Career nanny seeking a long-term position with one family.

Responsabilités

• Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for young children within a collaborative caregiving team.
• Help maintain consistent routines, structure, and a calm daily rhythm.
• Support school transitions, meals, bedtime routines, and other key parts of the day.
• Foster children's emotional, social, and cognitive development through engaging, play‑based learning.
• Encourage independence, kindness, good manners, and age‑appropriate responsibility.
• Prepare simple children's meals and assist with child‑related laundry, organization, and tidying.
• Communicate effectively with parents and fellow caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
• Travel with the family as needed.
