Job summary

Charlotte's Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in Myers Park, Charlotte, NC, to hire a Full-Time Family Assistant for their 2-year-old daughter. The role blends childcare with household support and runs Monday–Friday, 12:30 p.m.–6:30 p.m., with a mid-spring 2027 shift to 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m.

The ideal candidate is warm, proactive, and dependable, able to work closely with a stay-at-home mom, manage routines, school-readiness activities, meals, light housekeeping, and errands.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Family Assistant or nanny experience.
• Ability to independently manage recurring household tasks.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Non-smoking; safe and reliable transportation; valid driver’s license.
• Pass a national background check and driving record check.

Responsibilities

• Meet daily childcare needs: meals, snacks, diapering, naps, dressing, transitions.
• Engage child with age-appropriate, screen-free activities and play.
• Plan and participate in creative activities; reading; outdoor play.
• Partner with Mom on family meals, groceries, and meal prep.
• Manage family laundry, linens, dishes, organization, and routines.
• Handle household errands and maintain tidy play and living spaces.
• Provide support for travel preparations and light household tasks.
