Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the Sherwood Forest neighborhood in finding a Family Assistant for their family of 4, including two children, 12 and 14 years old. The role runs Monday–Thursday, 2:30 pm–7:30 pm (20 hours/week) with occasional schedule flexibility.

The Family Assistant handles childcare and home-management tasks to keep the household organized and running smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-directed, reliable, and capable of balancing school

Qualifications

• Have previous professional home management or family assistant experience.
• Have a college degree or equivalent experience.
• Have a professional resume.
• Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency.
• Pass a national background check, including a driving record check.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Have safe and reliable transportation.
• Have a minimum of three professional references.
• Be non-smoking/vaping.
• CPR and First Aid Certified.
• Must be able to swim, as the family has a pool in the backyard.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Must be up to date on childhood vaccinations.

Responsabilités

• Pick up children from school and practice.
• Flexibility to accommodate changes in school/activity schedules.
• Monitor children with chores and getting ready for school the next day.
• Ensure homework is completed.
• Run child-related errands as needed (e.g., picking up supplies for school).
• Manage and oversee scheduling of home vendors and deliveries.
• Keep the home tidy and running smoothly; items put away.
• Basic meal prep; starting or heating dinner as needed.
• Load/unload the dishwasher and keep the kitchen tidy.
• Help with laundry, if time permits.
• Grocery shopping, if time permits.
• Dry cleaning drop-off/pick-up.
• Picking up prescriptions.
• Care for a senior dog (let him out; keep food and water full).
