Job summary

Parker University in Dallas seeks a Full-Time Faculty member to teach Systems Pathology and Pharmacology/Toxicology within the College of Chiropractic. You will develop courses, align assessments with program objectives, and promote critical thinking across basic sciences.

The role requires active learning, solid teaching skills, and the ability to contribute to multiple disciplines. Regular class and lab instruction is required, with standard weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent doctorate; 18 graduate hours in Pathology and Pharmacology/Toxicology.
• Evidence of effective teaching ability and active learning approaches.
• Ability to engage in research, scholarly and/or creative activity.
• Willingness to contribute across multiple Basic Sciences disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver, and manage courses in Systems Pathology and Pharmacology/Toxicology.
• Prepare syllabus, communicate requirements, and evaluate student work.
• Maintain office hours for student support and advise on academic progress.
• Ensure alignment with NBCE Part I and II objectives and Parker policies.
